Rocky built one for his neighbour and two for the local pool man. Having sold the two very quickly, the pool man wanted more. Therefore Rocky decided to take his idea to the public at a local home show. The response was overwhelming, so he set about finding the right materiel to build the reel systems.

Plastic was one material that might have been acceptable; it was cheap, light and easy to injection mold into various shapes. The biggest drawback to plastic is that it is not as strong as Aluminum, and the sun has an adverse effect on the material. Rocky decided that die cast aluminum was the best material; it is light, strong and is not effected by the suns rays or temperature changes, and can me molded into elegant shapes.

So Rocky’s Eazy Rollers® started life in the late 1970’s. Graziano ran the business until the mid 1980’s when he sold his shares to various family members.

Effective January 1st 1998, three partners -- Ken Withers, Ray Hancock and Eric Porter -- purchased the company from the Soverigno family. The new partners are committed to making the very best reel systems available, and this was Rocky’s main focus from day one.

Retaining the services of a public relations firm, the company underwent a makeover in late 1998. The company changed its name to Rocky’s Reel Systems Inc,. A new company logo was developed along with magazine advertizing, window decals, packaging, brochures and trade show stands.

From the outset, Rocky’s have built a reputation for a top quality product, one that will last for many years provided that the purchaser takes care of it.

Rocky’s are not built to a price, rather we build the best possible system and price it accordingly. A Rocky’s system is a worthwhile investment for the future. Provided that the end user takes care of the reel systems, it will last for a great many years. Many of our customers purchased a Rocky’s after having seen one on a friend's pool. Others have tried the cheaper systems but found them to be lacking.

To all original purchasers of its products, Rocky's Reel Systems Inc. warrants its product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
